I just got a pair of Acuvue Oasys as trial. They are very comfortable and the vision is perfect. I was using Ciba Vision Color blends before... alright lenses but not good for dark environments because of the color. I told my doctor I wanted to try PureVision and I did for a week. Did not work for me. Try the Oasys the next week. First time I put them on. Perfect fit and vision. To all the bad reviews here... it's not the lens it's your eyes structure and chemistry. You need to try different lenses and see which one fits you. With all due respect all you do is scare people and make them wonder whether these are good lenses or not. Not all lenses work for everyone.

Great contacts
Oasys contacts are great if your eyes dry out really quickly. The vision does blur a little, but not enough to be noticeable. I've been wearing Oasys contacts for about a year, and personally, the trade off between the comfort I feel in my eyes versus the slightly blurred vision (not enough to even notice) made me renew these for another year

They feel great in the eyes but the cause bluriness
I read some other reviews and i guess i am not the only one that gets blurred vision with these contacts. I think they are great for distance viewing, but for reading they are horrible.

These Lenses ROCK--With one warning
These lenses are some of the MOST comfortable lenses I have ever worn. I have sensitive eyes and a touch of dry eye now that I'm in my 30's. That said I did notice that it's important to use a multipurpose solution designed for silicone hydrogel and RUB. I found for myself--AMO Peroxide solution or Clear Care Peroxide feels the best!!!

Comfort is great, Vision so-so
I wore these lenses to play golf the other day and was amazed at how comfortable they were. I basically forgot I was wearing them. However, while the vision was initially great, after a couple of hours, I noticed some blurriness. I wonder if this is a common problem...

Excellent Contacts
I have been wearing these type of contacts for the last year - I do alot of computer work and my eyes were always drying out - these are the best out there that i have tried. My eyes don't feel tired or dried out. I recommend this type of contact lenses.

Response to Red Eyes
I read the earlier review about red eyes caused by these lenses. I have to add that I don't think it was the lenses. I had the same problem with a different pair of lenses and with these my problems are solved. But the problem wasn't even because of the old lenses. It turns out that the problem was caused by the solution i was using, which incidentally had been recalled, and i didn't know. So before you accuse the lenses, try a different solution.

Red Eyes after two days
I've been a long time daily use wearer of Acuvue lenses (17 years). During my most recent exam, my optometrist switched me to the Oasys contact lens. Initally the lenses were more comfortable, but after the second day of wear, I noticed that my eyes were very red. By the third day, I couldn't stand them. I took them out and put on glasses. After a two day break, I put in a new pair of Oasys lenses and suffered the same result.

blurry vision & protein build-up
I loved these lenses at first they are extremely comfortable. But after a few days my vision becomes slightly blurry and progressively more so as the days pass. I find I can only wear them about 10 days or the blurring becomes to severe. I wish they could perfect the great comfort without the protein deposits or blurring. I will not purchase them again.

Best lenses I've had
I've been wearing contacts for over 25 years, and recently had been on Acuvue 2's. I do sleep in my lenses for 3-4 days, and as a result am scarring on my upper corneas. I tried the O2-Optix as they claimed 5 times more porous for oxygen, but my eyes turned red and I needed to removed them each day. I then tried Oasys, and turns out it's the best fit and experience.

Average pair of contacts.
These are very comfortable. They seem like you aren't wearing any contacts. They do get blurry every once in a while, but I'll still use them.

Going back to Oasys after trying Optix
I had been in Oasys lenses for a while, and developed the bad habit of not taking them out for extended periods of time. My last visit to the doctor revealed I had some vascularization of my cornea due to oxygen deficiency. FOR THOSE WHO ARE KEEPING THESE - OR ANY - LENSES IN FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME, GET YOUR EYES CHECKED REGULARLY. Anyway. On my doctor's suggestion, I switched to O2 Optix because of the higher permeability, but found that the lens was more uncomfortable - I was actually 'aware' of the lens in a way I hadn't been with the Oasys. My right eye also developed a tendency to feel like there was something under the lens, and often felt like it was "peeling" off of my eye, especially in the mornings after sleeping in them. As a result, I was taking them out every night even though they were "extended wear". After a few days of having lens problems while I was driving, I called and exchanged all my remaining unopened Optix boxes for Oasys.

Best option for sensitive eyes
My eyes are very sensitive and dry out easily, and at first I was able to use a lower-quality lens, but after a few months my eyes couldn't take it any more. At that point, I was seeing the eye doctor a couple of times a month for a few months, trying and trying and trying different kinds of lenses, and I could not find something comfortable enough. Then, I tried the Oasys lenses. These lenses are comfortable, and they keep my eyes fairly moist. I thought I would never find lenses that would suit me, but the Oasys lenses are perfect. Overall, my vision is very good, and I don't quite know what people mean by having "blurred vision" from these lenses as I have not experienced that yet (I've had them for about 7 months now). These lenses are easy to handle, and they last long (I can get at least 3 weeks, sometimes nearly 4 out of one pair!) and they remain comfortable for the whole period that they are used.

REGULAR USER
i used oasys lenses for over a year now and first 4/5 months they were ok and good and for the last 6 months supply they torn in edges and dont last long and when u show them at light both lenses seem to be different material and now i can only manage to last one pair of lens per week as they get dried off even though i take them out every night. i have been using acuvue lenses for over 3 years now and now they look like they not original acuvue as they used to be.
