Why are some contact lens so much cheaper than others of the same type. The great contrast between products is unresting what is the difference should stir clear of cheaper lens and why

Phil...the difference in the price of contacts is the distributer. They are all EXACTLY the same ones as they usually ship from the manufacturer no matter who you order them from. I do know eye doctors inflate the price considerably to make a profit so if you have a script, I would suggest ordering online.

I agree with angeleyes. I would buy the 1-2 week ones and as long as they don't tear, you can wear them for up to a year. Just make sure you clean them with a milti-purpose solution to remove protein.

WARNING - pay no attention to the above post by the FAKE ag-i-doc!  He would never recommend stretching the life of a 2 week lens for an entire year compromising the health of your eyes and your vision!

BEcause online realtors purchase lenses in bulk. They get them at a cheaper price and sell them to larger volumes of custoemrs. Your eye doctor get's them through a supplier who charges them an invoice price. They in turn can only sell them to people who either walk in with a valid rx or have been fitted for them themselves.

Regardless of the illusion..the person underneath is always the same....
